Day 3

Again, I woke up feeling typical, so I really do believe that the last attempt at the cleanse was muddied by illness rather than the cleanse itself. I'm following Bob's suggestion of not splitting my AM meal.

AM- (5:20)
1 small orange
2 Hard-boild eggs
Hoping to drink full bottle of water on the way to work (got half of it down)
17 oz water

Mid day- (11)
1 small orange
2 Hard-boild eggs
17oz water

Workout
(Bob, can you edit or add it in?)
Warm-up:
100 push ups
100 mtn climbers
Reps:
12 spiderman push-ups
5 high windmills
15 Squat/Raise (can't remember the name)
15 Supermans

Repeat Reps
12 oz water

PM:
24 oz water

I went to Sprouts tonight and bought my "first meal" fixings and I can't wait to eat tomorrow! I bought blackberries, blueberries, strawberries along with the best ingredients for a yummy salad: jicama, corn, red & yellow bell peppers along with a great salad blend. Can you tell I'm salavating?

  1. Wow! That's a pretty brutal schedule to follow!! What happens on day four? Do you eat normal? I can totally understand/sympathize on weight and eating issues. I am really impressed by what you are doing. I don't think I have ever been able to pass Starbucks without getting something! Major change now though is I don't get lattes any longer, I get iced/hot coffee with sugar free flavoring and non fat milk to lighten the color a bit. It's actually pretty good. Let me know how progress goes! You can do this, it sucks at the time, but the results are killer!! Keep it up girl!!

  2. I'm going to try to keep eating as clean as possible from here on out - we'll see how it goes. Two years I went from 170's to 140's, but this past year I let 20 pounds of that creep back on. I'm determined to shed it!
I'm going to try your starbucks drink! My goal is to limit it to one stop there a week. I'm also trying to debate what to do with my fascination with Diet Dr. Pepper. I was drinking a minimum of 32-40oz a day of it. I'm debating on bargaining with myself that I must consume 80oz of water prior to drinking a 12oz can OR I can have one 12oz can at lunch, but that will be it.

  3. AWESOME JOB JEN!!!! I knew you were capable of this. You just needed to DECIDE to do it.

Keep in mind that the artificial sweetners- UNLESS IT IS STEVIA- are all highly estrogenic chemicals that often times result in far greater adversities than mere sugar which is only responsible for ugly fat storage. Estrogenic chemicals and foods increase estrogen, decrease testosterone, lower energy, store fat due to elevated estrogen, lower growth hormone, and some turn to formaldehyde in your stomach. On top of that you have the caffeine chemical entering your body as well which is also not good by any means. Just recall the withdrawl symptoms and realize how much of a true drug it really is.

Remember that when drinking Starbuck, diet Dr. Pepper, or any other substitute to water. Nothing replaces water and its amazing effects.

There is a very large difference between NEEDING and WANTING.

If you are gung ho about all this right now what happens when you stumble? It's bound to happen. What then?

Questions to think about: Will you simply excuse or justify your actions and carry on as "normal"? What really is normal?

If "normal eating" worked to be healthy and effective in weight management then no one would be obese and unhealthy. Don't eat normal. Eat as the body requires and responds best to. That is what we have talked about.
